... yup you read it right!

Oh I’m not certified but I’ll be your therapist and nutritionist for this evening until I finish my scotch, and maybe tomorrow evening if time permits.

Very successfully got a few of my friends out of their ruts 😎, and most definitely have atleast 50-60 IQ points more than your therapist (no... I don’t work at red hat) so advices will be solid.

(Toxic c*nts will be ignored or badly insulted. Let’s keep it gentlemanly shall we boys, and gals ofc)

Go on..

Tell me about the chronically unsatisfied needs that you have, and how they led you to create this thread.

You mentioned earlier your high IQ. Are you satisfied with the extent to which this is acknowledged in your day-to-day activities?

I honestly prefer people not knowing I’m high IQ, does more harm than good.

People only like dumb, malleable folk. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • How to cut down on sugar cravings? As soon as I finish my meal, I crave for something sweet and then I don't stop. I tried not keeping sweet things at home or keeping them away, but hasn't helped.

      That’s a tough fight!

You know the simplest thing would be just drink a glass of water after dinner. It’ll curb your cravings. It definitely works for me.

Also, make sure what triggers it and don’t do it. It could be some kind of a routine. The idea is to trick the brain out of that routine.

Like for instance, I crave dessert after a luxurious meal or if watch chef Ramsay cook up something on TV while I eat, the trick here is to avoid such things, if possible ofc.

But like I said in the earlier comment, think sugars as your savings, and eating == spending. You ideally want to wait until you have stuff in your bank before you go on a shopping spree. Here it could be cheat meal on a weekend or Friday.

      Hope that helps!

GF and I are in love, but she occasionally gets drunk, looses her shit, and hits me or breaks stuff in the house. She recently had an especially manic episode that was just so insane I couldn’t take it any more. I kicked her out, but I miss her, she’s a dime, and she’s very sweet.

How do I get over her?

  • I’ve been feeling like shit ever since covid started, put on 50 lbs and can’t seem to ever curb my appetite no matter how much food I inhale. I’ve never had this problem pre-covid. Any tips on how to stay satiated? Could it be a medical thing? I’m having a hard time dropping the weight because I’m still always so hungry.

You know you’d be surprised but it could be vitamin D. I got this “zinc + calcium + vit D” supplement off the Walgreens shelf (although I don’t need calcium) and have one tab every other day.

Definitely helped me to some degree.

And yeah, I feel you, that wfh hunger though. It’s all about calories, just skip breakfast or skip carbs in one of your meals. Think of whatever carbs (includes sugar) you don’t eat as your savings and binge once in a while after you feel you saved enough.

We are all hooman after all 🙃
